Why Pollen Energy Biostimulant?

Pollen is the male gametophyte cell of flowering plants (angiosperms and gymnosperms), carrying genetic information from the paternal line. Plants accomplish the species reproduction by pollination.

In ancient societies, mainly in Greece, China, and Egypt, Pollen products were widely used in medicine and healthy food. The ancient Egyptians portray pollen as “a life-giving dust”. Pollen is used in diets as supplementary nutrition due to its beneficial actions against human diseases.

Pollen contains lots of vital nutrients like proteins, lipids, vitamins, minerals, and carbohydrates (sugars), as well as trace elements and considerable amounts of polyphenols, mainly flavonoids.

Pollen   grains,   depending   of   the   plant   species,   differ   in shape,  color,  size,  and  weight.  The  grain  shapes  are  diverse: round, cylindrical, bell-shaped, triangular, or thorny . Their weight is equal to a dozen or several dozens of micrograms. The majority of pollens consist of single grains which are sometimes joined with two or more grains. The color of the pollen is varied ranging from bright yellow to black.

Pollen metabolites including: proteins, amino acids, enzymes, co-enzymes, carbohydrates, lipids, fatty acids, phenolic compounds, bio-elements, and vitamins.

The pollen protein are consisted of vital amino acids such as tryptophan, phenylalanine, methionine, leucine, lysine, threonine, histidine, isoleucine, and valine, which could engage gene expression, cell signaling, digestion, and nutrient absorption.

02

Carbohydrates containing reducing sugars like glucose and fructose, is the energy source for pollen bursting. And many soluble active polysaccharides could regulate pollen development and pollination process.

03

About 5.1% of lipids are found in pollen as essential fatty acids like archaic, linoleic, and  γ-linoleic acids, phospholipids, and phytosterols (in particular β-sitosterol).

04

The essential substances, including vitamins and bio-elements, are present in 0.7% of the whole material. Bio-elements include macro-elements like sodium, magnesium, calcium, phosphorus, and potassium, as well as micro-elements as zinc, copper, manganese, iron, and selenium.

Our formulations of PEB could be created flexibly. Base on the application of products, many functional natural plant essences (active secondary metabolites) are added into PEB agents to synergistically enhance the effects of products as biostimulants.

Rich components. Progressive biological enzymic technology reserves the active ingredients and nutrition in pollen

High activity. Diverse pollen sources, plenty of active ingredients, efficiency synergistically

High safety. Botanical extracts with high crop affinity, and safe for environment.

Broad application. Applied whole growth period to increase fertilizer absorption and utilization, to enhance plant immune system, resulting in low risk of diseases and pests, and low application rate of chemical pesticide and fertilizer.

PEB Products

Natural Biostimulant-PEB is consist of pollen and the derivatives, which extracted from diverse by a biological enzymic technology in order to furthest reserve the active ingredients in pollen, such as sugar, amino acids, flavonoids, vitamins and virous of essential nutrients.

Resulting in many efficacies of product including growth promotion of shoot and root, enhancement of photosynthesis, reconstruction of root system, stress tolerance and immunity, improvement of food quality and flavor.

The PEB could elevate the plant metabolic activity and potential functions, increase the fertilizer absorption and utilization, and improve the balance between reproductive and nutritional growth.

PEB could be broadly applicated in grain and oil crops, as well as fruits and vegetables, to accomplish higher yield and better taste, while less chemicals and safer environment.
